So this is going to sound really silly but what do you do after you buy your dream bag. I finally did and now feel like it would be a waste to buy anymore bags even though there are a couple I like.

Good question! I think if you have a well rounded collection then maybe just stop buying and enjoy what you have. Maybe move on to shoes or jewelry :graucho:

I purchased my HG last month (a Chanel trianon flap in black), but I still have some handbag "needs" (which in the real world are obviously not needs). But I'd like something red, I'd like a brown casual bag, and I'd like a dressy box clutch. I only want to buy what's perfect and I have to save up for my bags so it'll take me a while to get them all.

My husband told me to get the bag that would stop my obsession and I think I might have. But not positive I may eventually need it in beige too. I have to use it for a while and see how much I love it. I do really like the givenchy nightingale but I feel funny getting anything less then my hg now, which is my chanel jumbo flap. I haven't used it yet but I am enjoying staring at it.

...realize that it wasn't my holy grail bag, understand that I'll make any excuse to buy a bag, step back from the buying frenzy, accidentally discover that I truly love a hobo style (and date that love back to my mid teens), find the absolute best ever hobo (again, truly by accident) and go from owning over 25 bags to owning four, and I've been content for almost two years now.

Life is good.

Hi dear! You have such impeccable taste I would love to know which 4 made it on your list. :)
