That dangling lock part would annoy me, and it would get destroyed within about 5 minutes banging aroudn like that.... Not my style, but not really practical for day to day life, I don't feel.

I have this watch and I love it. I usually wear it on my RTT heart tag bracelet. I've had it for a few years now and it hasn't been beat up or scratched yet. It always gets compliments!
The only problem is if it catches on something, it can come undone.

When I bought it, it was US350.

For some reason this charm always reminds me of Flava Flave. A dangling clock charm just doesn't look as noble as a wristwatch. I'd also be worried that every time I tried to read the time I'd have to shake my wrist to flip the lock face up. The face is small to begin with. Ame brought up a great point - the clear crown of the lock charm would probably get scratched up faster than a traditional wristwatch because of the fact it will swing around, and it will probably scratch itself on the links of the bracelet it's attached to as well as random objects.

Trust me, this watch does not have any resemblance to Flava Flav! It is almost the same size as the heart on the RTT bracelet.

I always wanted a charm type watch and this one really fit the bill. They were really popular long ago, especially with nurses and I was thrilled when I found this one from Tiffany's. Obviously not everybody's cup of tea, but for those who like the girly charm look, padlock jewelry, or a nurse, this watch will be great.

+1. The watch will bang on wooden tables, everything. I bought my sis a similar charm bracelet. The last time I visited her, I saw it sitting in the box..LOL

Everyone said my (regular) charm bracelet would bang on everything and that I'd get annoyed by it. I don't. I knew what I was getting when I bought it so its not an issue with me.

I think this is a nice departure from a traditional watch per se.

If you like it, go for it!
