Today I learned that when preparing a Patriotic potato salad consisting of red, white, and blue/purple potatoes, you must first boil the blue potatoes seperately.
The blue potatoes are not to be boiled as long as the red and white potatoes, otherwise you will end up with red, white and mushy blue potatoes.
