Food What did you cook on Xmas Day?

^ brownie trifle sounds really interesting. I'm gonna have to Google that. I'm gonna Google what Crimbo is too.

a trifle is just layers in a glass dish so you can see them on the side...can be sweet or savory. my brownie trifle was a layer of brownies, peppermint bark, chocolate pudding, whipped cream, then repeated to fill the dish. easy peasy!
 
Ha, I know what trifle is - we had it every Xmas with our traditional British Xmas Day lunch. I'd never heard of brownie trifle. I Googled pics and it looked yummy. I used to love trifle, but being a vegetarian, I can't have it anymore - gelatin from jelly and a lot of people use thickened cream which has gelatin too, so I don't bother.

we had, the full english breakfast; chicken, spicy rice stuffed in peppers, kebabs, fruit, ice cream, chicken wings, cake, biscuits, party food:sandwiches, rice, we probably had more but thats all i can remember now
