I'm in the process of reworking my wardrobe and have gotten rid of a lot of my jeans I am getting ready to purchase some new ones but I'm having a hard time deciding what cut. I really love straight leg (Citizens of Humanity Ava to be exact, which are really bordering on skinny) and currently wear the two pairs I have almost all the time with cute sandals. Now that the weather is getting cooler I am going to have to switch to closed to shoes like suede knee high flat boots, moccasins, and the occasional ballet flat. I have one pair of boot cut jeans, so I'm wondering if I should buy another pair of straight legs or another pair of boot cut.
My main concern is about the footwear- I can only wear the brown suede boots with straight jeans which is fine, but do ballet flats and/or moccasins look okay with straight jeans? My mocs are Minnetonka so they are pretty slim and I tried them on and it looks alright, I just wanted some other opinions on whether boot cut or straight looks better.
The outfits I generally wear would be J.Crew-ish type things, maybe a sweater with jeans or a button up striped shirt, very casual stuff.
Thanks in advance!
