What color is Doe?

Can anyone tell me what color doe is? I have been looking at some things on ebay and sometimes it looks yellow like a bamboo, other times it looks more brown.

it is a tan color, definitely not yellow.

I've always considered Doe to be the color of a caramel candy.

Some batches of Doe have a very yellow undertone, and some batches are darker than others. It's supposed to be a like a camel color.
