Hi, I recently purchased this Gucci shoulder bag on eBay. It is authentic bit needs some TLC. I have cleaned it and conditioned the leather but I am having trouble finding a leather dye or polish in this color brown. Any recommendations? TIA!515E1CF1-3AAB-4A07-B766-03F1D06A41D4.jpeg

If you're open to a slight change, you could go a little darker brown and I think it would look good. If you want to try to stay with the same color, I would recommend getting two colors of fiebing's leather dye (not the paint), one lighter and one darker and trying to mix a custom color. I've done this in the past when I've dyed coach and Balenciaga items and they've always come out great.

It's the classic boar skin colour that Gucci is most famous for so just go as close as. Most of the wear seems to be along the stop and that comes from the brown resin sealant falling off.

I personally would go with a neutral cream to feed it and leave the colour as it is wear and all. Certainly don't use leather paint or dye.

It's a mid-brown (slightly yellow-brown) that with not much red.

So long as you look for a mid non-red brown and are really just looking to do the corners and buff-in it should be OK. If you take it in to any good cobbler he/she can show you the closest they have.
