What can cartier do? Ruined my love ring :(

Hi! So I had size 48 white gold mini love ring and I couldn't take off. I took it to a jewelry repair store where they cut the ring off and resized it to a 49 for me (this was traumatizing).
Sigh anyway, when they cut the ring off It was awfully close to the inner cartier engraving and part of the "C" got smudged in the process of resizing.

Do you know if cartier can reengrave the logo for me? I attach pictures but it was hard to capture because logo is so small!

I'm not sure if they can help you since work was done by a different jeweler, a lot of places are picky about that. But you should probably call them to ask.

I guess cartier love ring cannot be resize since it was made by machine... Bcoz i ever asked cartier and they said can't be resize. I have mini love RG in 47 and still bit a loose on me. They said that's the smallest size and they should order from france ( i lived in indonesia). So sorry for your ring, but i guess nothing they can do or fix... But hope you will get better answer from them soon.
