So I was on instagram today and seen this collection. Than remembered I have a vintage Gucci clutch which is the same style but it now has a chain strap attached. Which I love the idea!!! So I was thinking what if I took my bag to a shoe marker and had this done to my bag. Do you ladies think it would work or do I leave it the way it is? Nice bag, it looks in great condition. Take it to a cobbler and see if they can easily alter your bag to your specifications.

Thanks it’s in mint condition I totally forgot I had it in my closet. I bought it several years ago from a store on Etsy for $40. I wonder how it would look with a added change or if I should leave it alone.

Personally I wouldn't compromise the integrity of the bag. Whatever you paid for it, it's a Gucci bag, I wouldn't let anyone but Gucci work on my G bags.

We sometimes get vintage bags which 'don't quite make much sense' in the AT Gucci thread. A non-Gucci addition can make it much harder to sell.

If you know you're ever going t resell and think you'll enjoy this fashion wave more with it done then it's your bag.

I don’t think I’ll resell it but I guess you never know. I understand what you’re saying I really don’t want to ruin a Gucci bag. I just wish it had a strap so I can wear it using it as a clutch isn’t practical for everyday use.
