What are you using at the pool?

I use an inexpensive bag @ the beach/pool. Too much sand, sunscreen, splashing etc.
I once took my Noe to a lakeside outing & of course I had sunscreen on. Got some water spots on it from lake water & the underside on my shoulder strap now looks like the attached picture from sunscreen. I wasn’t thinking... it’s an old bag & not the end of the world but I’m sticking to cheapo totes now - like the free ones I get @ the le creuset outlet.

Hermes makes nice canvas totes which are perfect for a day at the beach- like when you visit the French Riviera or Monaco or Capri or some other aspirational destination. Otherwise, I would stick with Lands' End or LL Bean.
I always use my NF MM Damier. It has no bright vachetta, so no problems with fatty creams and if it gets sand in it, I just vacuum it.
I use a canvas bag (separate IKEA bag for wet towels) for the lake and pool. I prefer to be able to put it in the washing machine and have a clean bag for next time I use it (should it get dirty and such).
You could always go vintage and buy an LV bag designed for these kinds of activities, like Épi Plage, Monogram Ambre, or one of the Éponge bags.
To the pool I take my Chanel Fever tote, to the beach I would take either a generic or old leather tote.
I wouldn't take LV to the pool/beach. I don't own any of their items, but I agree that Longchamp seems to make the most sense. That or any nylon or less expensive bag.
I'm trying not to be bitter about this whole thread as I spent this week digging my car out of the snow to drive over black ice to take the bar exam. Jealous of your upcoming nice weather- we have a long way to go here!
