In the recent months I finished a dozen on audiobook but these are the ones I'd recommend (just go read the descriptions and if these genres interest you, I promise they turn out better than you'd think)
The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid (fantastic complex character development and how/why she had 7)
Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens (I didn't expect much, but knew it is on the NY Bestsellers list and made into a movie. It didn't disappoint)
November 9 by Colleen Hoover (Among my faves of hers. I cried)
On a Quiet Street by Seraphina Nova Glass (this has lots of turn of events)
The Lying Club by Annie Ward (more turn of events)
The Other Mrs. by Mary Kubica (suspenseful and it turns out like you wouldn't believe
The Girls Weekend by Jody Gehrman (murder and suspense)
Local Woman Missing by Mary Kubica
An Honest Lie by Tarryn Fisher
The Overnight Guest by Heather Gudenkauf (suspenseful. I gave it 5 stars)
