There are two thick straps that should be part of the shoulder strap however they are not attached. :huh: Not impressed with the quality, doesn't look like a expensive bag. The chocolate shade is pretty, not sure if its the same as the chocolate paddington.

Oh no, I ordered this one too. It's on it's way...it doesn't look anything like the one the website..I wonder why those extra straps are there? I guess it's going straight back. I was hoping the leather was going to be really good quality, too. How disappointing!

Wow, I would have never correlated the two as being the same bag! I totally agree with your decision. That doesn't look quite the same (at all) like the ad. I hate it when that happens. You get all worked up for a bag and then TOTAL LETDOWN!

Return it and get something you love!

Definitely a bag that looks better in pics! I mulled that one over for the longest time too and sooo surprised to see your pics. I had ordered a messenger/shoulder/something-or-other Chloe from Bluefly and it had so many weird auxiliary straps and carbiners than appeared in pics that it was the fastest bag to ever leave my presence for a refund. So sorry you are disappointed. Return and don't look back!

The BG pic is SO cute! I considered this bag, too. I think the "extra" straps are supposed to connect to the shoulder strap via a keeper loop (see BG photo), but yours definitely does not have the same vibe going on. There will be other bags!

Mine is coming in a couple of days so hopefully I won't be disappointed. Luckily, I've seen several Ascot totes (though not the hobo) so I know that the leather is not the same as the paddys and silverados. It's probably why the Ascot line is cheaper? I'm crossing my fingers on this one. :biggrin:

I must confess that I got curious and ordered one of these bags too. And sorry if I offend anyone, but that thing is uglier than a hound dog's butt. :cry: :P I kinda feel sorry for the poor thing. :P It's going back ASAP!!!
