I have a strange situation, not sure what to make of it. Anyone familiar with the pillow boots? I have them in black. The laces are mono canvas. Last week I noticed LV took them off the website so it seems they are getting discontinued. I love them so I had my CA order them in khaki (they were still available to order). I had her bring in 2 sizes….both had plain brown leather laces. Weird. Yet every picture Ive seen if them and the old website listing show mono canvas laces. What might be the reason for the plain laces? It obviously wasn’t a mistake bc both pairs had them. Any ideas? Anyone else get them with plain brown laces?

It may be that different colorways have different style laces. In this pic it appears the laces are plain, and only the tab on the front, and the inner lining has LV on it.

No they’re definitely supposed to have mono laces for this colorway. It notes it in the LV website listing description and every pic I’ve seen online of this colorway has mono laces.

Interesting. I noticed that the other style pillow boots they are selling online (not these) have the plain leather laces. Maybe there was an issue with the canvas ones, so they changed them all with the newer batches. Does LV give out extra laces with their footwear like Prada and Gucci do? I would maybe ask your SA if they have the monogram ones if those are the ones you prefer.

I was thinking something along those lines - that in this last batch of production they ran out of the old laces (or had an issue with them) and are just using the plain ones from the new styles. Bc why try to get more mono laces if the style’s being discontinued anyway. Unfortunately the laces aren’t removable so can’t be interchanged. It’s kind of annoying bc I prefer the mono laces. I’ve never had something like this happen before where the product I received had something different about it than what was listed for purchase!

Update: my CA ordered another pair and they were the old version (mono laces, lower inner sock). The new version with brown laces is WAY more comfortable so I kept those. The consensus was that these boots are getting an update and are in transition. It’s strange they took them off the website though. Oh the mysteries of LV :confused1:
