So post your pic if you have it and tell us about the weird ways you went about acquiring some of your collection. My first story is my Ralph Lauren Newbury Double Zip Satchel. This bag stalked me.... (Well it did!). Saw it at least 10 times at Macys, never bought it....they marked it down some....still never got it. Then, they marked it down just a bit over half and it was the last one, in the very color I kept seeing over and over. Its not that couldnt afford it, I just didnt buy it for whatever reason. So finally after 2 years of watching that bag, AND it was the last one....same actual bag and all (not like a newly delivered of the same model but the original one i saw) .....they marked it down again AND gave a coupon.... I HAD to get it. It's like it "knew" me or something lol....

Ok that's weird, but I know I'm not alone, what are your weird/crazy "how I eventually got that bag" stories????

Last year, I wanted the Coach Gramercy Satchel in python when it came out, but it was more than I wanted to pay for it. So I waited and waited and it finally came up in their semi-annual sale this past summer. It went down a little and then a little more and then a little more, finally made it to half price in the late part of the sale. Perfect. Exactly what I was willing to pay for it. When I went to order it from the website, I couldn't find my credit card. Several hours later, when I decided to use a different card, they were sold out. Bummer. So then I went to New York on vacation and went to the Coach store on Madison Ave. I mentioned to the SA that I was looking for that bag, and she offered to see if they could find one in stock somewhere. Yes please. She found one. It was downstairs and the lady would bring it to me in a few minutes. :D And it was half price. I got my bag and a cool story. :smile1:

Here's a pic I pulled from the web.

Great stories both of you [emoji4]

In 2012 one of my close friends bought a Milli Millu Copenhagen. She had been eyeing it for a lot of months, and when she finally had the money, it was out of stock, so she was bummed. Then she wrote Milli Millu and they accidentaly just got one in a return-order. And she bought it.

But... It was never really her, even though she though it was beautiful. So we talked throughout the years that if she was ever going to sell, it would be to me.

About one month ago, she had decided. she wanted to cit down on her bags, so Miss Cppenhagen got a new home.

And it felt like she has been mine all these years, just not hanging on my arm but my friend's. So it just felt right when I could finally take her home the day my friend and I met for cake and celebrated it [emoji173]️

And another cute fact: Copenhagen is my city. I was born and raised here, and live here now [emoji173]️

The last pic is from when she was brand new. I love her a bit more slouchy like she is now [emoji173]️ ImageUploadedByPurseForum1444458014.386543.jpg ImageUploadedByPurseForum1444458073.549266.jpgImageUploadedByPurseForum1444458107.902815.jpg
