Wedding ring to go with my engagement ring?

Hi friends,

Guy in my 30s here. I am engaged and getting married to a great guy in a few months. On my left hand I wear a rose gold ballon bleu and a rose gold pave full size love ring. With the diamonds, the rose doesn't necessarily shine the same way my full size yellow pave love bracelet does on my skin. I was thinking this ring might serve as a combo engagement and wedding but I am now considering whether I might want something to augment its sparkle. I do not want white gold. The pave diamond love doesn't come in yellow in full size and the smaller bands aren't the same thickness as the first ring and will not sit flush.

I am considering a yellow gold 3 diamond full size love ring to wear on top of the engagement ring. Do we think this might work well? I really like that ring and haven't seen others I think will stack especially well.

I don’t have any experience with Catrier, so unfortunately I can’t offer any opinions on ring options, but I did just want to say congratulations on your engagement, and upcoming nuptials! Your engagement ring is beautiful. One of the nice benefits of having a substantial e-ring, is that if you don‘t find anything that stacks well (or even if it does!), you can always move your engagement ring to your right hand, and wear your wedding band on the left.

Thank you so much for your kind note! Am very excited about the upcoming wedding :)

Meanwhile, I did go in today to try the piece on and it was not a good stack. It didn't feel like it added anything and sort of felt like it took away. Alas! Still got to figure that out.

Your RG pave ring IS already beautiful on its own as an ering and wedding band. The 3 diamond full Love ring didn’t quite hit the feel you wanted? What do you think about the etincelle wedding band? Maybe stack your pave between 2 etincelle rings? Too much bling? (If there’s ever such thing)

Congratulations! I think your ring really stands on its own. There was another post about someone wanting to do a love bracelet instead of a wedding band. Would that be something to consider? I myself barely wear my rings these days but my love is screwed on so it stays…

I understand that you're big on Cartier, but have you thought of a diamond eternity band?
That way you can adjust the carat size so that it compliments your pave love band.

An eternity band is quite universal, it will go with everything. The diamonds may be bigger than your pave love but I think the design of the pave love will be distinct enough so that neither will outshine the other.

Side note, when you end up making a decision, please post mod-shots! Would love to see photos! :loveeyes:

Hi friends! This is what we have landed on. It was out of stock in US boutique system but I seem to have gotten the last one from online. Now, I've had experiences where they don't actually have what they said they had, so we shall believe it when we see it. You can see what the white one looks like (for size, not color) here.
