Just out of curiosity, has anyone used just one of the shoulder straps on the Rogue (ie, removing one of the two and hooking one strap to both eyehooks on each end? I saw the video where the guy hooked his 2 straps together to make it long and hooked it to the ends of his bag, and I tried it with just one of the straps. It keeps the bag cinched in more, but might be a good option occasionally. Not sure if it would be bad for the hardware or not. I find it easier to keep a bag with just one shoulder strap on my shoulder. The down side is the pretty suede pockets don't show as well. Just wondered if anyone had done this. Here's a pic if none of this makes sense! FullSizeRender.jpg

Interesting... I would worry it would pull at the rings too much over time with everything I put in my bag & I have the smaller size... It looks nice though! Always good to have more carrying options! I'm carrying mine today & using the 2 shoulder straps and honestly it stays better than most for me. I only have a few select shoulder bags for this reason because I hate constantly having to adjust my bag position. My commute involves a lot of walking around so it can become an annoyance... so far so good!

Yeah, I think it might pull a little too much too. I guess you could always use the one strap and hook to the ends diagonally. But you're right - it stays on the shoulder pretty well as is!

That's a brilliant idea!

The other way you could wear it using only 1 shoulder strap is to attach it diagonally on the furthest D-rings on each end. I believe this would help style the suede pockets better :)

I recently went on a trip and I used mine as a crossbody (with the two straps attached to each other) the majority of the time, the only thing I have noticed is some wear on the hook itself.

It seems to be on all 4 hooks so I'm not sure if it's a result of doing the crossbody thing or just happened in general. Still love this bag a lot and will continue to do the crossbody mixed in with the other suggestions. I love that there are so many ways to use it!

I saw the video you're referring to. I thought it was a great idea! However, I never carry mine over the shoulder so it doesn't really apply to me. I would think as long as the weight of the bag is distributed evenly, it shouldn't be a problem.

I haven't worn mine by the straps and I'm having the same problem on one of my hooks. It doesn't bother me....yet. Just kind of annoying knowing that I haven't even used those straps and they don't even move around and it still happened. I'm just going to keep an eye on it and maybe bring it up to my SA. Worst case, maybe they can give me a new strap.

Oh okay, good to know it wasn't my mistake! It doesn't bother me yet either, but I will do the same thing and keep an eye on it.

I think the guy in the video even mentioned his hardware was getting chipped/scratched. Hope this isn't a big issue with this otherwise very awesome bag!
