Wavy Zipper on Monica Satchel?

I just received this bag from the Surprise Sale (outlet) and I'm kind of bummed about how it looks. The zipper top is wavy. I can't decide if this is something that would soften over time, or of this is something that I should try to return. What do you think?

Returns are technically not allowed at the Kate Spade Surprise Sale, so I'd have to call and complain and be at the mercy of manager.

Hi! To me it looks like the zipper is closer to some parts of the fabric than others. It might be part of how the bag is designed with a long zipper on the top, but I would try to return the bag saying it's defective. Hope that helps!

I hope if you decide to return or exchange the bag it all works out for you! It's sad the zipper is wavy . I think otherwise it would've been a great bag!
