Waterproof?

Hello! I am looking at the re-edition 2005 saffiano leather bag and the re nylon version as well. I am wanting a cute bag to take to Disney World that can withstand some rain and water rides. If in the rain, I would obviously do my best to stay under an umbrella or keep my bag under the poncho and dry it asap but I don't want anything too delicate that not a drop can get on it without ruining it. Does anyone have any experience or insight on how water resistant these bags are? TIA!

I have the nylon version and I got it wet lots of times. It's not waterproof, it does get wet. But it dries easily and doesn't get ruined from being wet.

I have the saffiano version. It is one of my 2 go-to bags for rainy days.

It has definitely been rained on, and when I get inside the car or a building, i just shake it off and brush the rest off with the sleeve of my arm.
I would consider it to be water resistant, the beads of water form on it, sit on the surface and don't get absorbed. But I also don't leave it sitting wet.

Just fyi I don't do umbrellas. Can't stand them. I'm okay with getting rained on most of the time unless there's an actual storm.
