For a man, what is more elegant casual to use, a fine watche or a ring?

i think a watch, watches are a pretty popular accessory to collect for guys and women, but i think i know more guys that have a thing for watches than women.

however, i'm not sure if i would use 'man' and 'elegant' in the same sentence though he he

I agree, a watch. Except for a wedding band, and it can have some discreet bling on it, I don't like big or elaborate rings on men. And from what I observe, I don't think most men like rings either.
