Hi everyone,

I've been working recently doing odd jobs to earn some money as I really wanted a new watch, the only one I have is a lacoste leather one thats about 5 years old.

So I decided i didn't really want to spend more than £130 on a watch so thats my limit :)
I'm 15 and quite like the toywatches as I really like the chanel J12 watches as they're quite similar to them but cheaper and also a bit more fun.

i was just wondering whether anyone had any idea of other watches I could maybe look into that are within my budget and even though I like toywatches because they're fun I'm wondering whether I should get a more classic watch? I understand to get a very classic watch I'd need to be spending about £500+ and at my age I don't see the point as it would be a complete waste as I'd no doubt lose it or break it!

thankkyou :)

I wouldn't recommend Toywatch, they are overpriced for what they are and the quality is crap. Even Timex makes watches with better movement than them.

Take a look at Fossil or Michael Kors watches instead. I believe they both have a J12 knockoff that are better quality than Toywatch too.

Thanks ColtsFan86, I really like that but I think maybe for me as I'll wear to school etc. something w/o crystals hmm.

Also Aylilith thank youu, I had done a little research and wasn't really sure about the quality of toywatches - from previous posts it seemed a bit 50/50. I've had fossil watches in the past and from what I can remember they've always been good quality - will have a look :)

I agree with Aylilith, my toywatch has been fine, but I wouldn't buy one again, the quality is not worth the price. Luckily mine was on sale so I didn't pay retail.

The seller I linked above also has watches without crystals, here's one in white:

I originally purchased the Fossil Stella with crystals in black, and returned it because it was so lightweight and cheap feeling. I'm so glad I did, got the ceramic one on ebay for nearly the same price and it's much nicer.

Good luck with your search!
