My husband and I each bought a Cartier watch from different stores last week - him from Cartier directly and me from an AD. Neither of us got a travel pouch, which was a big bummer. The boutique told him he could choose a presentation box OR travel pouch.... is that a thing now??? Does anyone have suggestions for getting a travel pouch? I use them all the time when traveling with jewelry and watches. :(

Not a watch, but I bought a new necklace last month, and was given large presentation box, large travel pouch and cleaning kit without asking (London).

I would understand if a an AD do not have any freebies, but a Cartier boutique should provide u with at least a travel pouch, I was given travel pouch without having to ask, but the cleaning kit I did went back n ask for it when I got my my TF watch earlier this month, maybe u cn try asking from a different SA the next time u go to the boutique

Stock can be very limited unfortunately. We’ve made 6 purchases and they’ve never had a cleaning kit to give me.
I get travel pillows and plenty of champagne though lol
But likely it’s due to there being a shortage of the extras.

Thanks, ladies. Will try calling Cartier! It should be standard to give you a travel pouch for a jewelry/watch purchase! FWIW I was in Tokyo and actually visited a few boutiques and asked them if they give pouches with watch purchases and they said no, only for watch service. :huh: I know some VCA stores recently started making customers choose between box and pouch so thought maybe it had come to Cartier too.

Update... I just called CS and they told me Cartier is completely out of travel pouches. :shocked: They said stores may be working through their existing inventory but they haven't been able to continue shipments of the pouch. I guess the 4 Cartier boutiques I visited in Tokyo weren't just BSing me!

Oh noo.. tht really ruinned ur first cartier watch purchasing experience, y dont u ask from ur local cartier boutiques? No harm in trying right unless u live far from one
