I absolutely love the look of the Cartier Tank watch but I simply can't afford it. Can anyone recommend a watch with that "look" for around $500 US or less? Or, a watch in general at that price point? I would prefer a swiss made watch (aren't those supposed to be better?) and something classic that could last for many years. I currently have an ESQ watch. I bought it a few years ago and it's not really my taste anymore (or maybe I'm just bored with it - LOL). Any help would be appreciated.

ETA - This watch has potential. Has anyone purchased from this site before?

I was going to suggest victorinox it is a great watch for the price, I think this site is authentic though you may find the same price on amazon. Tissot is another great swiss brand, sapphire crystal etc at this price point. Citizen though not swiss made is also great at this price.
seiko has a tank style watch with leather strap

or this

How about the Bulova 96R160 I think its more "inspired" by the cartier solo watch, but there are still some elements that are in the cartier tank watch too. I'm not too sure how good bulova quartz watches are however.
