Watch or Necklace?

Hello ladies, I'm in need of your opinions. I'll be graduating from university this year and have been thinking about my graduation present (I know it's very early, but I like to explore my options ). I'm torn between getting a really nice watch (either a J12 or Cartier Tank--haven't decided which yet) or a necklace from VCA. Now, I wear a watch every day so it would be practical for me to have a very nice one, but after looking at all the lovely alhambra necklaces in the VCA addiction thread, I really want one for myself! I know I won't be able to get both (unfortunately), so what would you ask for? Necklace or watch?

watch and I second J12 I wore mine for 18 months straight and it still looks brand new Tank is a good classic choice, but it shows wear easily as a daily watch.

Well, seeing as I don't wear necklaces too often, nor do I care for VCA, I'm definitely biased. As for which watch to pick, I find the Chanel is somewhat of a trendy watch while the Cartier is a classic, IMO.

I would say the watch and I would go for the Cartier Tank. I love the J12 but I think the Cartier is more classic.
