I touched one in-store out of curiosity, Louboutin made shoes in a similar glitter material and both feel like a fine grit sandpaper. Nothing abrasive but definitely not smooth, a tradeoff for the luminous sparkles

So I tried rubbing the material with various levels of strength and no glitter shed. I can post a video if you'd like!

How is the glitter like up close? How does it feel to the touch?

It feels like a rougher canvas. The glitter is deeply embedded into the canvas so you can't really feel individual glitter pieces, but the overall texture is rougher than normal canvas. I hope that helps!

I totally agree with that description! Can't feel individual glitter pieces, but it is definitely rougher than the regular canvas.
