So guess what!!!
None of you kow this, but before the price increase at Tiffany's I was trying to decide between two things:
the mini elsa peretti sterling silver bean, or the mini gold elsa peretti heart.
I initially bought the heart, but I was really disappointed in how small it was, and how much it cost for the size, so I returned it and got the 12mm bean which I love.
I was searching around on Ebay, and saw that someone was selling the small size gold heart and chain for $500 or best offer. I decided "what the heck?" and offered them $350 for it. I sincerely doubted that they would accept, because right now, the current price is $775 for the small on a chain.
They accepted the offer!
What stinks is that I am going away on vacation in a couple of days, and it won't be here in time. So I have to wait... They are going to send it to me once I return.
My concern is that it is the mini and not the small. It appears to be the small, since I compared with the measurements they told me with the small that I have in sterling silver.
So now I am dying to know if it is the small or the mini! As soon as I get it, I will know, but until then I won't! They have a two week return policy upon receiving it, so I am also going to take it to Tiffany's to get polished and for them to inspect it, though I am quite sure it is authentic.
Hmm. If I post pics of it here, you folks would be able to tell if it is a small or a mini? Since I already bought it, I guess that's ok, right?
