I tried to download my photo so they could Simpsonize me but none of my photos would work! Anyone got any advice on how to save a photo properly for this website?

The photo has to be a clear headshot, like a passport photo, with a white background. Worked great with no probs. The only way I could save mine to my PC was to save a "screenshot", as follows:

1. Hit the "PrtScn" button on your keyboard (between F-lock and ScrLk buttons) while you're on that screen
2. Open Microsoft Paint program
3. Hit Ctrl V and the whole screen will paste in
4. Save as a jpg or whatever

You gotta crop it, but it works!

I'm a contrast type of gal. LOL I just checked and the pic I used was 112kb. I had zoomed in on my head and cut out the rest of my body.

what confuses me was that it asks for the minimum size to be 5 x 7 and only so many pixels and must have LOTS of contrast. How big was your photo?

You gotta change the size of the photo to 640 X 480 pixels..I did it with Microsoft Office Picture Manager, just click re-size and put in 640 X 480...

Caitlin use the official site's custom avatar maker. That one allows you to save. The simpsonize one is good but I don't know how to save off that one.

Mine is a little small That was the one I made from a photo (it's my avatar now)...wish they gave you the option of carrying a handbag LMAO

To save you have to take a screen shot of the picture...and then go into your photo editor and crop and resave as a JPEG.

I did an avatar at the official movie site. I guess it looks like me. I also have this South Park one I created a long time ago using the create-a-character game on the official South Park site.
