I finally decided which gucci bags I like (which is not a lot because I find a lot of their bags too flashy) and they are both Dionysus. I never had a suede bag so this will also be a first since a friend of mine assured me that it's not as delicate as it looks. SO my friends need your advice which should I get?

I would definitely decide based on your lifestyle and planned usage. Both are gorgeous. I would chose the canvas as it's easier to maintain

Love the suede look. I have a Gucci nubuck bag and believe it or not, it has survived being splashed on from a car running through a puddle! I was worried sick it was going to splotch but when it dried it was fine. Your friend is right, suede is more durable than we give credit for.

Go for the canvas one. The mini is on my wishlist!
The suede (a beauty no doubt!) one can be a nightmare.
Suede + color transfer = Throwing money down the river (**IMO**)
Check out this video. I died after watching this :O

Geeeezz... what a disaster! aside from the stain I like the look of it tho... too bad.. I wish there is something you can put on the bag to protect it from color transfers.

How exciting !! I really wanted the Dionysus when I first saw it :)
I drooled about getting a suede one, either the blue or taupe color. I ended up getting the one with the monogram just to be on the safe side:)
I really love it, and I'm not too much into monogram. When I was growing up, Gucci monogram was more for older ladies:). I love what they have done with their whole line now- I do agree that some of the styles, while gorgeous works of art, I would not wear them.
Good luck !
