Rare? No, not at all. Funnily, it is actually listed on the LV clearance sale on 24s.com (this is the official webshop of the Vuitton parent company LVMH, the only other website besides louisvuitton.com that is authorized to officially sell Louis Vuitton products):

It is brand new, and $200 less than the used one from FP.
It was a showpiece, but its magic didn't really work, never became an IT bag, even for a day. I like the concept, but this really is a bag that is only to be displayed on a shelf, not for actual use.

hi, thanks for the info. I love the bag so I don’t care that it’s not an *it* bag, in fact I prefer that because I love owning interesting/statement pieces that not everyone has. I guess I was just inquiring because I quite literally can’t find any information or photos of the piece

I’m usually a monogram girl but lately I’ve been collecting vintage EPI keepalls for a change of pace And because it’s nice to have leather over canvas lol. I also just really love anything odd or statement piecey, I think she’ll be a great addition next to my prism and Mona Lisa Keepalls

My first answer was meant that as a so-called 'investment' piece it is too readily available to be rare, but as a personal bag for a personal collection it really is rare, very few people have it.

ooh I gotcha, makes perfect sense. i definitely figured it wasn’t as rare as something like the light up Keepall because the price would’ve been WAY higher. I’m just very confused on how “unknown” or not talked about this bag is lol, it’s weird. I’ve yet to find one conversation or even one person online who owns one. I’m looooving the vintage EPI colors, SO gorgeous; I have Cipango, black and Borneo as of right now

I feel the same way. That is why it was so disappointing that the Alma Gold (as close I we can get now) was not produced in PM. The BB are too small for my like.
I was so happy to see this colour, but only got the Card Holder. Wish it came in a larger Alma or larger NeoNoé.
