Vintage Watch - anyone seen this?

Hi all - I came across this watch on Gilt but can’t seem to find any info on the internet about it. Has anyone seen this style of watch IRL? I don’t see anything similar available from Van Cleef today.

I do not know much about the watch (or Van Cleef in general), but my grandmother has two of these Sport watches— one in yellow gold with diamonds on the entire bracelet portion and bezel and another that is white gold with diamonds only around the bezel. The former she purchased from a boutique maybe ten years ago or so. I believe the latter was an older version, probably from the 90s or early aughts. The one in this Gilt listing seems like the newer version (maybe from around the 2010s) based on the construction of the bracelet.

Thank you!! This is the first bit of info I’ve been able to get on this watch. I feel like it’s a steal for the fact that it’s white gold, but want to make sure VCA will still service it. Does your grandma ever take hers in for repair or anything?

Very welcome! I know she has at least taken both watches in to her boutique to request new batteries, but not sure if she has had any other kind of servicing done. Before you buy the watch, it may be good to email or call your local boutique to ask about the repair/servicing process. Not sure what other kinds of servicing you’ll need, but you should at least replace the battery since those are meant to be replaced every few years.
