I am thinking of plunging at this vintage Randonnee on Fashionphile. I have always wanted a red colored sizable backpack to carry casually and travel. But LV not offering no red Epi Christopher PM At the moment like in the past. Many other brands just don’t have the spark what makes me itch to buy.

This Randonnee is cool looking. But my concern is the indents on the base. I don’t know if it fixable on my own. Everything else I feel I can spruce it up with some cleaning.

I honestly think these get better when the bag is full. I think they are cause by how it was stored; perhaps empty. I have a petite now in Epi and bends in a side and I store with towels or something that helps with the shape. I don't know if they go away completely but it should not deter you from getting it, if you like it.

I own this exact bag in this exact colorway. Its truly beautiful.

That being said, I don't find it usable at all. The way the straps are attached at the top od the bag and hooked together down side of the bag makes this more of a one shoulder carry.

The straps don't separate nearly enough to use as a backpack.

Im a bigger guy, but Id suggest that it would be a very slim narrow build that could use this as a backpack.

I also find this bottomless pit. There is one small zipped p.ocket, but the rest is all open space.

As the bag is DEEP....finding things is difficult.

I truly don't mean to be negative, but I bought this to be used a different was and I can not.

Thank you, perhaps I should take the plunge then. :P

I’m a very skinny guy! Lol
but I wonder if I can wear it like a sling. Was yours GM or PM size? I don‘t think the bottomless pit would bother me when I liked the Christopher PM. It has the same issue.

I’ve always wanted it Monogram. But I’m scared to how much LV might charge to replace a whole new vachetta and hardware. LOL

this one was 500 and the bottom was just as clean. way smarter to go the whole bag used route vs the repair old bag route. it's a great oldschool classic that is really well made. :)
