Vintage Noe.... anyone know the history on the changes of bag ? What to look out for fakes ?
For example, I’ve been looking online for noe bags but I noticed that there’s subtle differences on the design or stitching, etc.
How can I tell if it’s a fake and when did they make changes, if any ?

I bought my '97 Noe GM from a Japanese seller via eBay over 5 years ago and didn't questions the authenticity as there's an abundance of genuine old LVs being sold off in Japan. Mine has the datecode where it should be and quite frankly, it's going strong still and I doubt that any fake made before 2000 would be intact. LV was built to last back in the day. I can't really help you beyond that sorry. I can only suggest buying from a reputable seller and compare as many pics as possible.

Good point that anything before 2000 wouldn’t be still lasting in quality. Anyone else want to chime?
