Hello to my vintage LV lovers! I need your advice....I just want an easy everyday LV bag and prefer vintage....I love the shape of the Drouot and that it can crossbody but have always wanted a Speedy as well. I'm thinking Speedy 30 for size. Which is a better investment and what are you loving more?

I have a speedy 35 had it over 10 years and was wondering could i use a strap on it as i asked instore a few years ago they said not to but its just gathering dust and i would use it with a strap

There are third parties that make little rings, similar to a D-ring (I believe you can get them on Amazon even) that make a classic speedy look like it was meant to have a strap on it. Sort of how the Alma BB handle attaches. You definitely run the risk of unevenly wearing on the bag by pulling on only two of the four pressure points on the handles, but you could probably counter this by swapping which two attachment points you use to attach the strap occasionally...I've been thinking about doing this myself with an old limited edition speedy. Can't decide if I should do that or just order a My Heritage one painted with my initials :graucho:

I think it depends on your needs. The Drouot is much smaller. I have the Speedy 30 bandoulière. I never wear it crossbody, for me it is too bulky. The Speedy 25 looks much better. In general the value of a Speedy will be higher.
