Vintage Jumbo XL - silver hardware?

Hi everyone,

I'm researching Chanel to buy my first. I really like the looks of the Jumbo XLs (the large Cs) but every one I am able to find is with gold hardware. Do they even exist with silver? Am I just holding out for a bag that doesn't exist? haha

Sorry dear, won't happen....the vintage XL Jumbos all were made with gold HW.

I started a thread on this a month or so ago and only got one response. From my own research, it seems as though most of the vintage bags were made with gold hardware. That would be my HG - a vintage flap with large silver CC's.

how about the leather used?
did they produce the jumbo in caviar?
cos i only come across vintage jumbo with the big ghw in lambskin ...

To my knowledge, the XL Jumbo did not come in lambskin leather. However, you can occassionally find a vintage Jumbo in caviar.
