HI, I have a small bag that if possible I would like to restore the shine to the GG plaque on the flap.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

It's not the shine it's the actual gold (which of course makes it shine)

You would have to have re-gold plated

Gucci won't do this but you might find a jeweller. But before they did they'd have to get it off the bag and know how to put it back. Could be very difficult, certainly going to be expensive :sunnies

Thank you so much for your reply, I guess is not an easy or cheap solution, well... I still can use a gold color marker, LOL (no I won't)

Hi. I really need help about my vintage gucci bag. I can't tell if it's authentic because it has no serial number inside. I had researched the net and it said, that 60's gucci doesn't have serial number encrypted inside. is that true? I checked the zipper and it has no tag. there was "PRENTICE" engraved on it. These are the pictures taken. Please help me find out if this one is authentic or not. thanks.
