Vintage Gucci hardware

Hello Gucci family!
I recently acquired a beautiful Vintage Boston bag. Unfortunately, the rivet is damaged and needs to be replaced. I would like it repaired with an authentic rivet. Two cobblers said its not possible to get "authentic " hardware from Gucci and I would have to use a plain rivet.

Does anyone know where I can get an Authentic rivet?

If you are a good customer they (Gucci) may do it for you. Otherwise no-one will be able to source one.
