Vintage Goyard

hello all i keep looking at vintage goyard bags online.... truly vintage ones like the ones that were made in toile chevron or canvas goyardine.oddly none of them even say goyard and i wonder do any of you have one have seen one or know the story.............. or just a bit more of how Goyard evolved as a brand..... would really appreciate the help

This website has a good write-up of evolution of Goyardine canvas. Note that there was a period of time that the canvas was replaced by woven one i.e. jacquard which is the one that you do not see "goyard" on it.

I really don't like the vintage Goyar. The designs are outdated and not very stylish, in my opinion. The materials used also seem like they would not hold up well over time. Overall, I think there are much better options for designer luggage brands.

thing is and i thank you both truly, but i like how under the radar the oldies are NO branding......... really nice.
