Vintage denim mono?

I've just seen a cute vintage bag that I'm considering buying- it's made with denim mono canvas and looks pretty good in the pics. Is the denim canvas coated or not? Can anyone comment on the durability (or otherwise!) of the material? What about the leather used- is it vachetta? When would it date from? All help gratefully received!

Do you have a pic? I had a mini denim Pleaty in 2005 (I believe that was the year) but it was not canvas. Was fabric. There were several bags made that year in denim. Check the clubhouse as I know there are denim pics.

The denim is definitely fabric and not coated. So like jeans, it can fade, snag or rip. The leather is vachetta. I believe they date back to 2005?

Thanks guys, the bag dates to ?late 1990s apparently, the material is the lv8 above. It does look like it might be fabric.
