Vintage Coach

Hi everyone,
I have a fabulous vintage Coach satchel that was once navy blue, but has turned a greyish black colour. It also has some minor scratches. My question is, how do I give it a little facelift? It was my grandmother's, and I dont want to ruin it, just to spruce it up a bit. Thanks!
