I recently have been obsessed with vintage Chanel chain belts .
I have my eye on one from the 26 collection (I think this is 1989-1990?), but I'm not sure how to identify vintage pieces. I had a look around online but there isn't a lot of information around on how to check if the vintage belt is authentic or not
. From what I've found, most people tend to check if it has a small metal piece that has engravings of Chanel & it's collection number.
For those who own or collect vintage jewelry pieces or vintage Chanel belts, how do you go about checking whether it's a real piece or not? And, if you have a photo of one from the 26 collection, that would be great!
