Hello all!

After my grandma passed away a few months ago, a few of her jewelry pieces entered my care. I'm not sure how old they are, it's possible they are vintage. One appears to be an Cartier chain necklace (photo 1). I know the 750 hallmark means it's 18k gold (photo 2), but I'm stumped about the "A 6565" marking (photo 3). Can anyone tell me what it refers to?

I have a few vintage cartier pieces, I love to collect them. I believe the number in question is the serial number.
