Vintage Burberrys Wallets

Hello: I was wondering if anyone had any experience with characteristics of vintage heymarket Burberry wallets? I know some can have either or gold or silver logo on the inside...but that's all I really know.

Anybody have information on this? Will they always have the R trademark on them? What's the best way to have fun at a thrift store finding these items without getting a fake, as I absolutely hate fakes. I'd really like to educate myself on this.

Become familiar with the design of Burberry wallets. They often have a characteristic plaid pattern in gray, white and black, or black, red, white and tan. You can find examples of this pattern on the Burberry website or at a Burberry store.
