Vintage Balenciaga bags with signature logo

Does anyone know the history of bags with the BB logo? This bag also has a Korean tag inside.

I think it's one of those bags that are licensed by Balenciaga but not actually made by them. If I remember correctly the right to use the BB logo was sold to another company before Balenciaga became famous.
