Vintage Alhambra necklace white gold

I want to buy white gold vintage piece so if anyone has own one for several year please help me.What is the wear and tear of white gold pieces? Do they loose the shine after few years of wear? I heard there is some coat for white gold, I have my rose gold piece for more than a year and it's still sparkle.

I have the white guilloche HP and no yellowing or fading of the rhodium plating, but I also don't keep it on 24/7 so wears and tears really depend on your lifestyle. Worst case scenario, you can always bring it in to VCA for recoating.
