I have realized that what fits me the best is white gold and rose gold. Some yellow gold is in fact a bit too yellow to me. I am thinking of getting a pair of Alhambra Vintage earrings and I think I would prefer something else than white gold as most of my jewelry in fact is in white gold but are these only available in hammered gold and pavé if going for rose gold? There seems to be other jewelry from the Vintage Alhambra collection in rose gold with for example carnelian or dark (grey) MOP. Does anyone know?

You can get rose gold hammered, grey mother of pearl in rose gold. I believe the carnelian is yellow gold, but there was a special version with rose gold guilloche, I think? I think rose gold frivole are available now too.

For Vintage Alhambra one-motif earrings in Rose Gold, just hammered and pave. For made-to-order, you could do Onyx/RG, GMOP/RG, MOP/RG. Other stones would be special order, from easier to have approved: RG guilloche, Carnelian/RG, to more difficult: Chalcedony/RG, Blue agate/RG, Malachite/RG. I think the stones that are already available in other formats in RG (eg carnelian and RG guilloche or sweet carnelian in RG) are the reason those are more easily approved in SO requests. When requesting some of the others I have been told the approval process takes longer because the powers that be are not convinced those stones look their best with RG, though I think they do look nice together personally.

Thank you so much! Grey MOP and rose gold seems lovely (now I am off to see if I can find a photo of such earrings)

Thank you so much for your very informative answer! Do you know if anyone can make a "made-to-order" and are those more expensive than buying what is readily available? I think GMOP/RG seems very nice (but I haven't been able to locate a photo of such earrings, only of other jewelry). I will ask about this next time I have the possibility to visit a VCA store for sure. Once again thank you so much!

You are welcome. MTO requires a prespend ~85k USD, but it seems to vary a lot from location to location, so it is worth asking. There is a 30% markup for MTO.

Thanks! I Will have to look for something from the normal collection. After all there is not that much gold on these pieces so yellow gold instead of rose may not be a disaster but that grey MOP seemed very pretty for sure.

I forget that MTOs require a prespend now. I’ve had my SF and PA SAs suggest MTOs while my primary is in NYC. So it does not need to be with one boutique right?
Yes, it is total profile for MTO, it can even be a combination of purchases in different countries (though some markets are not linked). My profile shows my purchases in USA, UK, Europe and Japan.

I have to think that GMOP earrings in the single motif will be released eventually! They were part of the line years ago, so maybe they will come back. I agree that a little YG on the rim of an earring will blend fine with RG pieces.

Fingers crossed for that! I think it is a bit strange that it is not available in earrings when they sell pendants/necklace and also the bracelet in rose gold / GMOP.
