What earrings do you prefer to wear with your vintage alhambra necklaces??
If you wear the matching earrings, which size?? Is this too "matchy matchy"??? I might need to add a pair to my current order.... :smile1:

I don't know...I think matching earrings would be too matchy, matchy. I don't mind matching bracelet, because it's further away from the neck.

I decidied for the mini in MOP in YG. It is a perfect size with the necklace.
The normal size is to matchy, matchy for me. I adore the super size, but it is to much with necklace.

I am looking now for the earrings to wear with the tourquise YG 20. I have already tried mini and normal size vintage, but I decedied again it.
I don't have any idee now...... it would definetly be something not from VCA.

For me I don't like the look of wearing matching earrings. If I am wearing a 20 motif necklace there are many times I don't wear any earrings because I feel the necklace makes a big statement. When I do wear earrings they are usually something simple.

I do, however, love the vintage alhambra earrings and wear them often when I am not wearing a necklace. I think they are great everyday earrings.

I am not normally a matchy person and have never matched my earrings to my necklace. I bought a 10 motif MOP/YG and, after seeing a photo here somewhere of someone wearing one with the vintage alhambra mini-studs in turquiose/YG, my heart fluttered.

I loved the look. Since the mini's are a smaller size than the vintage and they were a different color, it somehow seemed very chic. Almost beyond matchy matchy KWIM?

Of course now seriously debating whether to purchase those before Friday!

I do not ususally wear my earrings with either necklace, they're too close together. I do wear my necklace/bracelet combo and then the earrings with other things.

As an example, today I'm wearing my WG/Turq 20 motif & braclet and smallish (quarter sized) WG hoop earrings.

I agree. I saw another person wear the short (10motif)necklace with the large earrings and something about that was just not right (for me). The SA at Neimans recommends simple pearl earrings.... With both necklaces, I will probably just wear simple gold hoop earrings. I wear diamond studs almost every day but they are set in platinum...and I am getting the necklace(s) in gold.....

Lots of pics of Kelly Rutherford in the via and celebrities thread... The only time she wears matching earrings I think is with the small single motif... More like a set of pearls. :)

with the yellow gold diamond vintage alhambra necklace. It's one motif, I would wear the the matching earrings. I do not like the white MOP with it. With the diamond pendant, the diamond earrings that match look best. They were approx 1 carat, $9200 before the increase.
