Hello everyone!

I‘m thinking about to buy a victorine wallet but i‘m not sure about the Quality. LV quality has been recently pretty bad. My PM is now cracking the second time, same goes to my emilie wallet in blooms. Does anyone own the victorine? How is the wear & tear?
Happy to hear!

I have the Victorine in Empreinte. So I can't speak to the canvas version. But, I've had my wallet for a little over a year now. I switch out my wallets often depending on which errands I'm running. I have used this wallet a lot off and on for the last year. The glazing and embossing still looks great on my wallet. The metal button does have some scratches, but that's too be expected. Overall, the wallet still looks brand new. I try to be careful with my items, but don't baby all of them.

Actually, I prefer to stick with LV when it comes to their SLGs because I feel like the quality is superior to other designer brands. I love the zippers and my canvas wallets/bags have been great overall as well. I think the envelope style like the Emilie or Victorine can possibly show more wear because of the constant flap opening/closing. I like my Victorine, but I also love using my Zippy wallets too because I feel like I don't worry as much about the glazing. Hope that helps.

(My PM started showing signs of cracking too right on the inside of the flap. That's why I know the flap/envelope style tends to show more wear compared to the zip options).

I am a new LV purchaser. Will probably never buy a bag from LV, but for SLGs I would be hard pushed to buy elsewhere. My Chanel wallet broke after 2 years. The lining ripped and I need to get it to the store. That's if they will take it with the 5 year policy. I have had the key cles for 2 years and it looks great. I got the Victorine last September and it is holding up well granted I have only had it a few months. At least generally LV stands by it's products....

I have always been more into Chanel, but can definitely see the merits of LV canvas and why people buy it for it's it's durability. Good luck with your decision X

I’ve owned and used the wallet for 2 years straight as I don’t switch out. It looks practically brand new. I just took it in in December to have the edges reglazed but there wasn’t much wear. The only wear is the snap closure.
I also owned the canvas, I found it stiffer even after a month of use compared to the empreinte. IMG_6903.JPG

My slgs have been very good to me. Some of my Pocket Organizer need to be varnish with new glazing. But the canvas has not shown no sign of cracking. Most look still quite new for being a year old.

I own this in empreinte leather and have used it daily for 2 years and love it. Mine still looks brand new. I recently had an issue with the snap closure not closing well and they replaced the snap and I had the wallet back in 3 weeks. No charge and it’s almost 2 years old. Love this wallet and would definitely purchase it again. I have it in navy with the red edges. Great wallet
