Versace Palazzo Bag? Anyone?

Hi guys!

So I can't keep from going back to this one, and upon doing more research, this bag appears to be quite the "it bag" in Italy as of last year. I found quite a few pics of celebrities here carrying it, 10 or so big names, but haven't found any threads on it. Rumor is that Riccardo is going from Givenchy to Versace, so publicity on this stuff may increase in due time.

I am drawn to this silhouette - tote, top handles, 2 longer straps (a web and leather crossbody). The closure is quite intriguing, with the Medusa head popping down to unfasten the flap, which is also held in place by 2 magnets on either side. You can also tuck in the flap and carry as an open tote.

Would love any feedback or reviews or experiences you guys have with this bag. Comes in mini, medium and large.

Ordered the charm version, if that counts. The color was a bit off from what I wanted, so it went back, but it was well-constructed (especially for a charm) and the leather was super-soft.

I've seen that one and it's beautiful. I ended up ordering the black on black medium for a starter so play with. Not sure what it is about the bag, but I am so drawn to it. I am surprised there's not more chatter about it? I am GLAD the quality is great as well. Thank you for responding. Do you have a pic of it?

I am obsessed with this this bag!!! I saw it in the Versace boutique and was amazed at how well it was made. I want the black on black version in the small size. I love it. I think it is very unique and functional. Plus it stands out in a subtle not very flashy way which is unique for Versace.

Agreed! To me it has a very regal look, a little birkin-esque, but way cooler. The medium is pretty darn small, the mini is super small, but still larger than a Chanel rect mini. The medium, for me, functions the way all my Chanel old medium boys do, but can hold quite a bit more without looking bulky. The back side where the straps attach is flat, so it lays very well against you on the shoulder or cross body. Both straps are adustable. The front flap can be tucked in so you can carry as an open tote. AND I am surprised how easy it is to close with the medusa clasp.

I still have mostly all Chanel and DIOR but this one has made such a grand entrance, that I ordered another medium and a mini! See below...
