Does anyone have any issues with their vernis Sarah wallets regarding the front 4 cards being difficult to get in and out against the patent leather? I am having difficulty getting the cards in and out of the front 4 slots as they seem to stick to the vernis part.

Is it new? I have a Vernis zippy coin purse and the card slots were a little tight initially, but after minimal use, they are perfect.

completely normal. it might be less annoying when the slot loosen up or stretch a bit but that "stickiness" is there to stay. its the texture of your card and the patent leather that makes it this way.

It will stay? How annoying is that when you are using the wallet once it has been used for awhile or do you just not notice it? My wallet is new and I have had such difficulty getting the cards in it that I feel like I am going to break the wallet just to get those 4 cards in those slots.

 i know its frustrating but you won't break it. very durable. it only happens to the sarah vernis but overtime it will get easier to get your cards out. With new wallets, it needs a bit of breaking in time.i think it took a few months for my amarante sarah to stop being a PITA to get cards out and i did brought it brand new as well.

Yes, I had this problem with a new vernis Sarah NM wallet and discovered it after I got home and put my cards in it. I have had other Sarah wallets and knew the slots could be tight when new, but with this one I literally could not get my cards out of the four front slots. I felt it might be because they were pressing against the cards behind it and due to the nature of the vernis leather, I wasn't sure it would get better. It was my first vernis wallet and as beautiful as it was (and I loved the color!), I exchanged it for a Ramage Sarah.

Just received a preloved sarah wallet in vernis and notice this issue right away. Did ask Google and this thread came up first...
I've decided to try to put some baby powder in these slots with a little paint brush. Let's wait for the results with use. Wish me luck purse fans!20210725_161142.jpg

If baby powder doesn't work, I'll try with my Cadillac leather lotion. It's creamy so it may be helpful.
