Vernis Houston Discoloration - Possible Solutions?

I have an LV Vernis Houston in a light green. It does not seem to be colour transfer but rather purely discolouration. I don't mind colour fading, but it's so uneven that its ugly! I have one idea - if the discolouration was caused by light, if I kept it under a strong UV light or used a concentrated blue light, maybe the discolouration would even out? That way it would be faded but at least even in colour.

I would just have it dyed a dark color to even it out.

Sell it cheap or try dyeing it a dark color. Some TPF members have been more or less successful dyeing Vernis.

If you’re into try dying it. Someone dyed their wallet on here and it looks like amarante...it came out very pretty. Let us know what you decide.

I'm not sure what the going rate/market value is on discoloured Vernis pieces (I'm guessing very, very low), so I see no harm in going down the dye route! Good luck!

Just wondering if you went ahead and dyed the bag? I have the same problem with the darker green vernis so I’m going to try sticking it in the sun for a while to see if it evens out!
