Vernis agenda owner-can you answer some Qs?

Vernis agenda owners, i am consider getting a vernis agenda, but have some Qs i like to find some A before i purchase:

• Can Vernis agenda be used everyday?
• Is it more of eye candy than functional piece?
• Will the side, button closure area get 'wrinkles' from usage?
• Has anyone SO medium ring size agenda? I tried to SO Damier Koala in Med ring, but got turn down >"<
• Is Vernis agenda your one and only agenda, or you rotate between other lines of agenda? If so, what's the reason?

• Is Vernis agenda your one and only agenda, or you rotate between other lines of agenda? If so, what's the reason? One and only because the idea of removing all the agenda sheets would make me a little batty.

I have 3 vernis and one LE panda. I ADORE the panda, but don't use it often... I use vernis everyday and change out between my three. Love them all, but my Perle just took a spill and the spine broke off and now I have to send it out for repair... on the to do list. The small agenda is not too small for me. Perfect in fact. I love to touch them, look at them, write in them, and I ADORE using the LV pages. They are wonderful. A lot of girls put the filofax plastic pocket inserts in them, and I was doing that when my perle one broke. So, I think it might have put too much pressure on it, and I'm going to stop doing that. I have two that I bought brand new and one lavender used. The used one feels more casual to me, since it was used. But, I do rotate them, so none get a really used feeling... hope that helps.... good luck. I'd do it, maybe the new red. LOVE my vernis agendas!!!!

Veronika-yup, i get what you mean, i've been using Damier Koala for the past week, at first i love the idea of wallet+planner combo, but am already tire of pulling and tugging the CCs, the need of constanly 'organize' the paper bills in the zipped pocket or it'be too bulky from all the rolled up ones, with the front section used as wallet, i can't write on a smooth surface which bugs me also.
I just want to use only one agenda, switching between handbag is enough pain for me even w/purseket. Guess it's time to bring out the good old cles ^^;

Can Vernis agenda be used everyday? Yes, totally. Mine is a PM sized in Noisette, which is a really light color, and it's thrown in my bag every day, though if I'm thinking of it, I shove it in the pocket, but it's never gotten color transfer or "wrinkly.

Is it more of eye candy than functional piece? No way! I gave up my PDA for it!!

Will the side, button closure area get 'wrinkles' from usage? Mine's a year old, and looks brand new, and I write in it every day, several times a day.

Is Vernis agenda your one and only agenda, or you rotate between other lines of agenda? If so, what's the reason? This is my only one. I actually had a Mono PM once upon a time, but I returned it after a few days because it wasn't...pretty enough for an agenda.

I have the vernis silver small ring agenda. It's five years old, but was never used and I just bought it from a MPRS. I keep it in its dustcover when I'm not writing in it because I don't want color transfer...it's beautiful and is a treat for the senses to use! I'm impressed with its sturdiness and craftsmanship. I use mine more like a journal right now, so am not currently filling the card slots. It came with LV pages, ruler and address book and they are really nice! (I'm not the kind of person who would pay for the LV paper, but it's an added bonus.)
In short, I love it!

Yes you could carry the vernis everyday, if you're worried about color transfer just keep it safe inside the dustcover in your handbag.

With the new red that is out...
I had plans to purchase the framboise and use it for summer and use my blk mc for winter. But now that this red is out i'm for one.

I use my vernis framboise agenda PM every day and it still looks brand new, no creases, dirt or any signs of wear and I throw it in all my bags. My experience is that it i not as sensitive as most people think and I'd buy it again!

yes.. i use it everyday and i LOVE it! mine is small ring pearl.. but i keep her in her dust bag while in my large bag so i avoide color transfer etc

I buy those plastic thingies with the many slots for credit cards, much like a photo album type thingy... not sure how to describe. I get a lot of compliments from it!

I've used mine everyday for over 3 years (red vernis) and I am not careful with it AT ALL

Not at all. I got mine as a Valentines day gift and my SO didn't know vernis was supposedly easier to damage than monogram. My SA, in fact, told him Vernis lasted longer than the canvas lines because the leather is so durable and treated. I've had monogram pieces peel and crack - my vernis agenda still looks new!

The side closure gets loser, if that's what you mean - but doesn't change the functionality of the piece
